My profile

Soy investigador posdoctoral en el Departamento de Filología Inglesa de la Universidad de Alicante. En esta misma universidad cursé el Grado en Estudios Ingleses entre 2015 y 2019 y el Máster en Estudios Literarios (MaEsL) entre 2019 y 2020. Además, obtuve mi doctorado internacional en 2025 con una tesis sobre la reescritura de la bruja del cuento de hadas en la ficción de Oz de Gregory Maguire.

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of English Philology at the University of Alicante. At this same university, I completed a BA in English Studies between 2015 and 2019 and an MA in Literary Studies (MaEsL) between 2019 and 2020. In addition, I obtained my International PhD in 2025 with a dissertation on the retelling of the fairy-tale witch in Gregory Maguire’s Oz fiction.

Con el objetivo de difundir mi investigación, he participado en numerosos congresos nacionales e internacionales, así como he organizado y colaborado en actividades dirigidas tanto a público especializado como general. Entre ellas destaco coloquios literarios en la Universidad de Alicante y eventos virtuales sobre la bruja del cuento de hadas, además de un grupo de lectura sobre Wicked. Asimismo, he sido investigador visitante en el Chichester Centre for Fairy Tales, Fantasy and Speculative Fiction (Universidad de Chichester, Reino Unido).

With the aim of disseminating my research, I have taken part in numerous national and international conferences, as well as organised and collaborated in activities aimed at both specialised and general audiences. These include literary colloquia at the University of Alicante, virtual events focused on the fairy-tale witch, and a reading group on Wicked. I have also been a visiting researcher at the Chichester Centre for Fairy Tales, Fantasy and Speculative Fiction (University of Chichester, UK).
